The Market
Every Sunday morning you may enjoy the traditional Mediterranean market situated in the heart of the town.
This Market, still is, a meeting point for visitors to join in the authentic Mallorca, a market where everybody is made to feel welcome and where with any doubt you will be fascinated by the colours and aromas from the island.
The Church
Whilst you are in the village, you may wish to take advantage and visit the Parrish church, with its blue ceramic bell tower.
The construction in Mallorca Barroco style, takes us back to the XIII century, the most outstanding feature blessed in 1775 is the altarpiece.
The Convent
El Convento de la Soledad constructed in the XII century was occupied by the monks from the order of “Los Mínimos”, founded by Francisco de Paula in Italy in the XVI Century.
The most outstanding feature of this convent is its renaissance cloister, with its square base, and the pillars with the Corinthian capitels that sustain the arches. Inside the building you will find three wells one of which is situated in the centre of the cloister, which has the Conrrado Family shield, the Owners of the property, beside this small oasis of stone, sits the Bell Tower with its sun diel reading the thirst hours.
